I created the background graphic when I conceived of Projectica. It is a metaphor for an ideal society, of porous and intersecting groups of people and their perimeters. I have found too often that it does not reflect reality, where groups are porous to some, too porous in others, and solid and impenetrable at different times.
Regardless of the circumstances that make them so at any given moment, members of any group that live a full life will have need and occasion to form or join new groups with others. So despite arcane inclusion, exclusion, and welcome-aboard opportunities, I think it’s still a valid representation of society.
The Easter colour scheme is indicative of my appreciation for Prince, as well as my appreciation of the perpetual project of dying and being reborn; our multifaceted, divine nature.
